El grupo DiscreMath: Matemáticas Discretas y Ciencias de la Computación tiene como propósito investigar problemas de tipo discreto que surjan de la interacción entre las matemáticas y las ciencias de la computación. Para ello se apropiará y desarrollará conocimientos en áreas como la teoría de autómatas, combinatoria de palabras, teoría de grafos, combinatoria enumerativa, teoría de la información, entre otras.
